History

1967 Nobuo Nakagawa , founder (current chairperson ), launched a business to sell petroleum products under the name of Nakagawa Shokai .
Established Nakagawa Bussan Co., Ltd.
1971 Opened Handa Yanabe SS, a directly-managed store, in Handa, Aichi.
1974 Established Chunichi Bussan Co., Ltd.
1978 Opened Odaka IC SS, a directly-managed store, in Nagoya, Aichi.
1980 Opened Tokoname Nagamine SS, a directly-managed store, in Tokoname, Aichi.
Opened Kokaguchi SS, a directly-managed store, in Shima, Mie.
Established Chunichi Oil Sales Co., Ltd.
1983 Acquired Marunaka Kosan Co., Ltd., and started to operate Nakagawa Canal Oil Terminal .
1987 Acquired Nagoya Oil Terminal of Cosmo Oil, and Marunaka Kosan started to operate the oil terminal.
1990 Established Nakanihon SHOUJI Corporation.
Established Marunaka Transport Co., Ltd.
1992 Opened Self Yanabe IC SS, a distribution outlet, in Handa, Aichi.
1996 Opened Kamezaki SS, a directly-managed store, in Handa, Aichi.
Opened Taketoyo SS, a directly-managed store, in Taketoyo-cho, Chita-gun, Aichi.
Started to import petroleum products after the abolishment of the Provisional Measures Law on Importation of Specific Kinds of Petroleum Refined Products.
1997 Obtained a license to import and distribute gas oil.
Opened Kariya Shinden SS, a directly-managed store, in Kariya, Aichi.
1998 Opened Tobishima SS, a distribution outlet, in Tobishima-mura, Ama-gun, Aichi.
1999 Completed the Head Office building and moved the headquarters functions from Handa to Nagoya (current address).
Acquired Tomen Energy Co., Ltd. and started its operation under the new name of Toyo-Energy Co., Ltd.
2000 Established N Two Bussan Co., Ltd.
2001 Capitalized on S-OIL Corporation (South Korea).
2003 Established Osaka Branch Office and started the operation of Osaka Sakurajima Oil Terminal .
Established Nakagawa Bussan Korea Co., Ltd . (current C&S Energy Co., Ltd.).
2004 Rented part of an oil terminal from Toho Gas Co., Ltd. and started the operation of Nagoya Second Oil Terminal .
Registered a trademark of N-OIL, an SS brand of the company.
Established N Holdings Co., Ltd.
Established Tokyo Branch Office
2005 Launched a new business to sell base oil.
Established Central Stream Marine Corporation.
Established Central Stream Shipping Corporation.
2006 Opened Self Kamishigehara IC SS, a directly-managed store, in Chiryu, Aichi.
2007 Established CS Maritime Co., Ltd.
Constructed two ocean-going tankers, “CS CRANE” and “CS SUMMER,” and CS Maritime started their operation.
2008 Opened Self Handa IC SS, a directly-managed store, in Handa, Aichi.
2010 Formed a business alliance with S-OIL Corporation (South Korea).
Sold shares in three affiliates of Toyo-Energy Co., Ltd.
2011 Established Onsan Tank Terminal Co., Ltd. (OSTT).
2012 Closed Nakagawa Canal Oil Terminal.
Opened an oil terminal in Onsan area, Ulsan, South Korea.
2013 Launched a new business to sell asphalt.
2016 Full-scale entry into the small delivery business for heavy industrial machine fuel.
Began to sell "NBF",the original brand heavy industrial machine fuel.
2017 Opened self Yokkaichi Shiohama SS, a directly managed store in Yokkaichi, Mie.
Opened self Owariasahi SS, a directly managed store in Owariasahi, Aichi.
